 A fresh breath of faith!
I just finished this book a few days ago. I was sad to reach the end but I'm going to keep it because I know I'll want to read it again a few times a year. Don't skip the recommended Bible reading at the beginning of every devotion. Pastor Osteen's enthusiasm and faith are contagious. If you read this book with a pure and open heart, it will completely change your outlook. I can't imagine a better way to start the day. The author has such a pure heart and deep faith that many scoff and ridicule him, but I don't care. The ways of the Lord are foolishness to those who are perishing!

Excellent...
A very very good, clear, precise, easily understandable Motivational book asking us to -- Have FAITH in GOD, Believe in HIM & HIS ways/timing & to please be PATIENT, POSITIVE, HUMBLE & GIVING...Well Joel's right, bcoz no matter what u may say or do, things will still happen when they gonna happen. So there's NO sense in getting bitter, anxious, agitated or restless for 'results'...Bcoz God's gonna do what HE gonna do & when HE gonna do it.
So relax & don't worry bcoz (Joel's right) "HE's a GOOD GOD" & is ALWAYS watching you, even if u think HE's not...Its just that HE has HIS own TIMING, which might be different from yours...That's why (as Joel says) u have to learn to always THINK POSITIVE bcoz positive thinking brings 'positive results & negative thinking brings 'negative results'.
Hence, start u'r day by saying "Today, its going to be a GOOD DAY" & I'm going to LIVE it WELL.

 Great format for a quick dose of inspiration and encouragement
Although many of the stories and quotes are the same as in his book Live your best Life now, this book is a nice one to keep at work and read a chapter or two throughout the day - they are short and provide a quick spiritual boost. I am still amazed how many of Joel's ideas, thoughts, principles are aligned with new thought teachings. No wonder so many Christian readers criticize Joel. God never intended us to be poor. Yes, we should not hoard material things and attach to them but that does not mean we are meant to be anything less than abundant. It means that we should accept our divine inheritance, share it with others and trust that there is no reason for us to hoard as God will always provide us with everything we need whenever we need it. We are not helping anyone in poverty or other debilitating circumstances by joining them! On the contrary, we can help others by living abundantly and sharing our prosperity in time, talent and treasure. I feel blessed having come across this book and would recommend it to anyone looking for a boost in faith.

Joel Osteen rates right up there with Tony Robbins, Wayne Dyer and Earl Nightingale
I read a lot of motivational books and listen to motivation tapes, etc. Joel Osteen's message is always easy to understand, motivational, and applies to everyone's life--no matter who they are.
I always feel renewed from reading Joel.

This Book Brought Faith Into My Life
This book has changed by life forever. I now have Faith in my life because of this book. Joel Osteen is the perfect messenger for God's Word.
